“All in One” – ice skating rink for Bulgarian sports center

The new ice rink in Varna – is a skating rink from the company Ice Business “All in one”.

The company Ice Business has built an ice rink in one of the largest sports centers in Bulgaria in Varna.

Starting with the design of the ice rink and ending with the coaching of the staff – Berlin company supplied a complete package of the ice rink.

“We can say that we have delivered Hardware as well as software in Bulgaria”, says Robert Buchner, the project manager of the company Ice Business.

For example, the staff have been trained to work with ice and care of skates, as well as to manage cash system, which was also supplied by Ice Business.

Building of the ice rink has lasted for about 2 months, however because of bad weather the construction had to be stopped 2 times.

“Once there was a strong wind with a speed exceeding 120 kilometers per hour.

Then there was so much snow that it was impossible to even think of building works”, – tells Eric Lafargue, the architect of the ice rink in the city of Varna on the company Ice Business.

But in the end the ice rink was put into the operation and all participants were fully satisfied with the work done.

The ice rink has an area of 880 m2 and a hockey board system according to international standards of Union hockey (IIHF).

The room where the rink is located, has an area of 1.800 m2, a tribune for spectators with seating is also located there.

The equipment includes: ice-cleaning machine Sport Ice Elektro 124, musical and color setup for the ice discos, as well as 500 pairs of skates for the charter.

The customer of the ice rink is the company M-Sport from the Bulgarian capital Sofia. “M-Sport” advises the cities on sports stadiums, and ice skating rinks in the area working exclusively with the firm Ice Business”, – explains Robert Buchner.

The ice rink in Varna is part of the center of leisure-time activities, consisting of a football field, basketball and other sports grounds.
